Prognose für das Auge und das Sehen nach einer NetzhautablösungPrognosisThe prognosis for the eye and vision will depend largely on the extent and the time period of retinal detachment prior to repair. Prognosis is best for cases of early diagnosis and subsequent surgery, where only a small area of the retina is affected and no further accompanying eye diseases are present. In best case the eye can reobtain full vision power. However, in worst case retinal detachment can lead to permanent blindness.
